Gadiyar selected to receive the 2026 IEEE Andrew W. Smith Outstanding Young Member Achievement Award
Prof. Gadiyar has been selected to receive the 2026 IEEE Andrew W. Smith Outstanding Young Member Achievement Award for his contributions to advancing electric machines and electro-mechanical systems through multi-physics optimization, harmonic control, and modern manufacturing techniques.
This award, established 30 years ago in 1996, recognizes outstanding achievement and contribution to the profession by an IEEE Industry Applications Society (IEEE-IAS) member less than 35 years of age.
